Despite there being infinitely more Android products than iPhones, the Android market is seriously lacking app variety. I guess people just develop more for iPhone than Android. I especially like all of the photography apps that let you alter the pictures taken from the cell phone. Some notably exclusive apps include the Chase Bank app, Blackboard, and UT app.
Also, the iPhone lets you make an icon on the home screen for any webpage. This is pretty nice. I now have 1-touch access to bus routes, all my google apps, and even this blog. Mobile Me/iCal have trouble syncing with my google calendar, so I have a shortcut for it too. The only downside is the lack of push notifications.
Combine that with the ability to make folders, and I'm sure you can see why I prefer the iPhone in this battle.

Google Voice integration on iPhone SUCKS!
The single worst thing about the iPhone is how terribly it integrates Google Voice. Apple denied the actual Google Voice app developed by Google (the one that works so well on Android,) because of some stupid reasons a while ago. There was a lot of drama, if I recall correctly, but it pretty much boiled down to the people at Apple being corporate snob douche bags. Google designed a pretty decent web-based app for the iPhone, but it's not quite the same. There are no push notifications, and the mail app for iPhone also sucks, so I never know when I get texts. (see more about email delay in a later post)
On Android gmail notifications are pretty much instant, and Google voice notifications come pretty quickly too, so I see my texts within 1-3 seconds of receiving them. Much better than the 15 minutes it can take on iPhone.
So far,
Android - 1; iPhone - 0
Edit: I've just learned of a Cydia app for Google Voice (for iPhone.) My iPhone is running 4.02, however, and cannot be jailbroken yet. After I jailbreak it, I'll get the Cydia Google Voice app and post another entry.

Introduction
So I picked up an iPhone 4 this past weekend and am using it simultaneously with my T-mobile Mytouch running Android 1.6.
I figure that since I'm using both phones, I may as well chronicle what I like and dislike about each one. At the end of the process, I hope to decide on which I'd like to keep. Stay tuned for updates!
